Zachary Pessman

This is my Charcoal Drawing. Prior to this drawing we did two exercises in order to get used to drawing with charcoal pencils. We used a white charcoal pencil on black paper and the a black charcoal pencil on grey paper. I think that the black pencil on grey paper helped me the most because that is what we used for our full length drawing. For this drawing, we found a  reference photo. After that to help setup our composition we mapped out reference photo and the full sheet of paper. One thing that I think I did good was blending. One thing I think that I could've done better is use the grey paper more in my drawing. I think that I like using charcoal pencils instead of graphite. This is also the last full length drawing of my class, and overall I think that I did a good job.
